SMS
With Hablame you send SMS from your platform over SMPP 3.4 and receive by webhook the ones people send to your short code.

Two paths
Connect your platform to the Hablame SMPP server, send with submit_sm and get the final status we know for each message in a delivery receipt.
When someone texts your short code, you get a signed webhook with the sender and the text.
Inbound SMS arrive only by webhook. The SMPP connection brings you delivery receipts for what you send, not the messages people send you.
How to request access
The Hablame team creates your SMPP account. Email developers@hablame.co with:
- Your organization name at Hablame.
- The fixed public IP addresses you will connect from: only those are authorized for your account.
- The cost center that usage is attributed to.
- Whether you will send, receive receipts or both (
transmitter, receiverortransceiverconnection). - A technical contact: name and email.
Support creates your account and gives you the server, the port, your system_id (up to 15 characters) and your password (up to 8). To receive SMS on your short code, follow Set up webhooks.
Never send us your password
Your system_id is enough for any request. Do not share your full API key or a signing secret either.
